'Today's Tarot'
Thursday 11th May 2006
I did not give a reading yesterday and until now today, because the cards were,'disappointment' and 'emotional wounding'.
Today's Tarot is the Page of Swords.
Pages are new and thus untried. Because the card is swords, it relates to thought; and being the page, relates to an early level of ability and prescribes a certain mental stance.
This stance is one of quiet observation, especially of the self. After the recent soul-searing experiences, it is wise follow up with quiet observing, for there is not enough strength or experience yet to act.
To witness with one's whole intent, that which moment by moment occurs is the meaning ofthis day's card.
There is just one thing to add with regard to the nature of 'time'.
'Now' has no duration, like eternity which also has no duration. Thus every moment goes on forever, and ever and ever. In this, as in all things, is perfect symmetry.
The river of emotion goes on without beginning or end.

Two of Cups
The Two of Cups is the card of the lovers. It is the card of emotional love and is that for which the world yearns, for therein is paradise.
It is asking us to recover our dream of beauty, and to live with the Zen 'beginners mind' where we are always new, vital, and innocent. This is the path worth walking as it leads directly into the arms of the beloved

Seven of Cups.
Cups relates to the emotions.
The Seven of Cups relates to dissappointment and our emotional response to it. It is easy to throw away our trust and aspirations when presented with dissappointment, but life is not about getting what we want, but about developing ourselves.
When taking a driving examination, we are not failed if we stall the engine, but can be failed on how we respond if we stall it. If we panic, get flustered, or swear and get aggressive, we are not yet considered safe enough to drive and most likely will be failed.
The global dissappointment we feel is with our human family, now stripped of religious and political masks. We feel dissappointment in the hiden ugliness increasingly evident our human family, for which there seems little hope.
But the Seven of Cups shows six cups knocked over their contents spilled; but one cup remains standing its contents intact. This means that hope is a small flame which needs protecting with our life, for without it, all is lost. The small gleam of hope has influenced an inestimable number of people to saving their lives when there was apparently no chance, and to saving the lives of others.
Remember the uses of adversity, for strength is not built on pleasure.

Knight of Swords
The knight of Swords signifies immediate and robust action.
The suit of swords relates to mental endeavour, but because this is the Knight of Swords, it means acting without delay upon decisions made.
Knights are mounted on horses for speed, and horses can jump. As in a game of chess, the knight is the only piece that can jump over enemy lines.
There are no right and wrongs in the game of life, but there is always consequence. It is advisable therefore to think well before taking action, as anything done can not be undone.
The cards always relate equally to the external world as well as the internal. This means the action can be upon oneself in gaining new ground, or in the world to do so. Either way, it calls for singlemindedness and unswerving intent.
Aside from the cards divining reality, they are also advisory or prescriptive. Thus there is a lesson with the Knight of Swords, in that to acheive anything, both focused thought and action are necessary

Justice
This card speaks about complete truth.
Between myself and I, truth is where I'm undivided, and there are no words.
Truth is not ascertainable externally. Unless there is utter truthfullness inside,
there's nothing that can recognise it outwardly.
Opinion and truth, is not the same thing
To be truthfull with ourselves is the only sanity, for if not, we waste the unbelievably magical gift of physical life, in delusion
The truth of life is never-ending miracle. It needs only that which is miraculous withinin us to recognise itself.
Truth is our closest and cosiest friend.

Page of Wands and Two of Pentacles
The Page of Wands relates to the beginning stage of action; and because new, innocent.
Innocence requires humility as its companion, if innocent rather than ignorant. We are always childlike when initiating new action.
The Two of Pentacles shows two figures back to back, each relaxed against the other. They are both holding a pentacle symbolising the physical world, around which is the symbol of eternity.
This represents a co-sustaining and everlasting flow of life force; her's; infinite source; his; physical application.
This card represents love as support and sharing, requiring a non-selfish basis, which is the only one from which a relationship can work, (otherwise there is only coersion and sacrifice).
Unless two people in relationship, are of equal consciousness and energy level, the life force of the one with more, goes to the one with less. This results in sacrifice and ultimately, death.
The two cards together, ask that new action be initiated in partnership with another and within the context of love.

Two of Swords.
This card is to do with communication.
Unfortunately not the ultimate communication which is love, but the incomplete kind, which holds truce alone.
The potential is there to show our eyes: if not, we remain incomplete in this moment, and all moments last an eternity,(as well as being finite).
Tarot cards reflect our emotional and psychic state; and as the world is inseparable from us, our image is mirrored in everything.
Thus the card drawn, is both the card of the day, and our personal card.
Incomplete communication, whether a seemingly outward manifestation,
is also an inward one, either way, dissatisfactory.
Action required

Four of Pentacles
This card relates to the need
For firm foundations.
For these to be firm,
rock is better than sand.
The construction is oneself.
To think, is essential.
It is also essential, to feel everything,
for without feelings, we are fools.
We need also our dream,
without which,
there is no beauty.
Even when painting the savage picture of despair,
We are also painting the heart of ravishing love.
Our home is our body.
As we construct ourselves moment by moment,
the consequence of our choices becomes more and more evident.
So I think well on what ground I build my foundations.
I think, test, and reflect well on the construction of my house.
I trust on the guidance the spirit of love.
Then...
I show myself off.

Seven of Cups.
The world is dissappointed in us. We are not stepping up and giving our gifts.
They remain dormant in our child self, tucked out of sight and mind, while we substitute obedience to external will, as we have been trained.
The consequence of not stepping up and giving our gifts, is that we are operating without aligning to our purpose, and are therefore on a hamster wheel of habit, going round and round without hope of escape.
Not only is this joyless for ourselves but a huge loss to the world. Our power to create reality has not even been glimpsed at; and who we actually are is completely unknown. Were we to find out who and what we are, then in that moment, the world would reverse its downward spin and burst forth into paradise.
Every single one of us is unbelieveably needed and wanted by the 'grand scheme'. Our childhood dream has the power to electrify the world; and in perfect truth, is what we've been waiting for.
What we are waiting for, is nothing other than ourself, for we are everything we desire and everything we could possibly imagine.
It is time now; there is no other time.

The Sun
The Sun relates to joy, innocence and abandon. It invites us to play with our totality.
It is a wonder that the most important things in life are advanced through play, and that within its context, occurs our greatest progress. It is for this reason that it is the first choice of children, who always and forever, lead the way.
All action and effort that springs from fear, or its counterpart anxiety, is flawed because is it is reactive. Reactive has no creativity and thus advances nothing.
It is therefore from a playful attitude which is fearless, that all good things come.

Six of Pentacles
Six of pentacles relates to helping hands, the essence of co-operation.
It is lovely to help one another for it brings about a sense of belonging and family, which is so missed in our goal orientated world.
When we help anyone we also help ourselves, for when we give, it is us who recieves, as the energy of our giving flows through us leaving its effect behind.
So it is that the best recievers are the greatest givers.

The Wheel of Fortune.
The wheel of fortune relates to the egoic restraints placed on personalized life.
Being a wheel it has a center, and that center is our point of perception or attitude.
Whatever our point of perception, the elements on the 'circumference' of the wheel, will reflect the hub.
We are all caught on this wheel, with its rise and fall of fortune; but in being aware of that, we free ourselves not to identify with the rise and fall of our fortune, but simple to witness it, maintaining equilibrium.
To maintain equilibrium is not to numb ourselves to whatever happens for to experience is the point of life. But in our effort to see the whole, we gain both sovereignity and true peace.

Knight of cups
The Knight of Cups relates to a romantic state of being, based solely in our emotional field. Of all the states of being, this is the most fluid, colorful and captivating. It is made of and designed for beauty, but the danger is, that it because it is so captivating, we can lose ourselves in it, sometimes for a lifetime.
There are three magic fields in our makeup, our Heart self ...(feeling) , our Sex self....(action and reaction) and our God self....(thinking, understanding).
To get caught in any one single field is a mistake, and leads to self loss, which is the worst that can befall us, hell the result. (Not the Christian punitive hell, but the personal hell that drives us mad.)
These fields are magic, because they not only create reality, but have complete power over us, and thus the universe.
When our gaze broadens to the point where we include the Universe, we can see that everything affects everything and we can't escape the consequence of any act, thought and feeling, because it has affected everything in the universe.... creating an ongoing reality.
In this way, although we are are free to feel, think and act, in whatever we choose; we are also not free, because everything has been changed and affected by us, and we are "bound to its consequence."
Thus hell is the result of the mistaken notion of being isolated, and is the result of the adolescent stage having gotten stuck. It is a terrible trap, and every war on earth is its direct result..
The isolated self view, is responsible for every act of cruelty; and is the root of all illness.
Three in one is the holy trinity.

*Seven of Cups
*The Seven of Cups is a card that relates to disappointment and the attempt to hold onto our gains.
Disappointment, in simple terms is not getting what we want. But what we do not realize, is that as our wisdom is limited by our width and depth, and that we do not have the _whole _picture in mind, when evaluating our 'gain' or 'loss'.
Everything that occurs in life, is tailor-made to bring about the fulfillment of our destiny, the education our soul, and for precision interconnection with everyone and everything.
Being sluggardly, we are unwilling to grow; take a step; correct destructive habits... etc . As a result of this, we are booted by circumstance to enter a wider sphere despite our fear, laziness and wishful thinking.
The Seven of Cups therefore, although relating to disappointment, invites the chance to view circumstances from a wider perspective. Almost always in retrospect one is glad that circumstances were as they were, because where we are now is the result. Where we are now is exactly where we should be.

Page of wands
Today's card signifies the taking of action but with the understanding that we always stands on the brink of the unknown, (even if we have our eyes averted!) It is because of this, that we are in reality, always children. There needs be no shame attached to this, but humility is helpful.
Humility is a word mostly misunderstood to mean subservience, but this is an error. Humility is simply a complete lack of arrogance, (which anyway is only camouflage for fear and self doubt.)
So today is a day to take new action, but with care and awareness, as we are always young when entering the unknown.
24th April 2006
Ace of Clubs
It is time to take direct and bold action regarding the next step in life. If necessary, disperse resistance, then act.
To offer the personal gift of oneself to the world, is longed for by both the human family and the world itself.
Self doubt is inherited and does not belong to us and it seems foolish to live ones entire life under its auspices. So why not live oneself now?
To live in fear is not to live at all, and unfortunately the shadow of our projected fear is how we experience reality.
The Ace of Clubs stands for action and if this requires guts, so be it.
Sunday 22nd April
Two of Pentacles
Today the focus is on the relationship between men and women in its complimentary and supportive capacity. The beauty of the Grand Design regarding the sexes, is that in relationship with each other, a mutually sustaining dynamic occurs that is accumulative. This means that not just nourishing, steady energy is exchanged, but an increasing dynamic that has infinite resource.
This is the most valuable reality on earth to know and foster. It will result in the end of poverty, sickness and war, and is both the meaning and delight of life.
Saturday 22nd April 2006
Amazingly the card today was exactly the same as yesterday, which shows how powerful that message is and how it needs to come across.
Friday 21st April 2006
Ace of Cups
The ace of cups relates to the state of love that resides in the heart as it's natural state.
Love is always and everywhere present, but obscured and disaffected by thought, which although a survival mechanism does not manifest the state of grace.
Today, as is true of each day holds a mood - a sphere of influence, and today that is sublime love.
Thursday 20th April 2006
Seven of Cups
This card speaks of disappointment and the inability to let go of a cherished desire. Disappointment is the bi-product of having desire, though doing so is trained into us from an early age.
To aim forward necessitates planning, it is just that if our plans are invested with hope or desire, we can become unstuck.
The answer is to live fully each moment, clear in the understanding that there is nothing out of place, even if we do not get what we 'want' . 'Want' implies being without, and in reality we are ever complete, moment by moment.
Wednesday 19th April 2006
Six of Cups.
This card signifies unrealistic expectations... wishful thinking... castles in the air.
To conceptualize an ideal is to use our mind imaginatively. This is the foundation of art, but cannot be woven into real or pragmatic reality, without disappointment resulting.
The six of cups disguises feelings of dissatisfaction with one's life and self, and projects this dissatisfaction externally in fantasy. This is wasting our precious life, for we miss the intricate wonder of the present moment because we are lost in wanting something different.
We are always dissatisfied if we are dissociated with ourselves. It does not matter what we can we fantasize we might have or do, for nothing will plug up that hole.
